How to Download Twitter GIFs on Android
Android makes downloading media effortless. In just a few taps through Chrome or your favorite browser, you can extract looping Twitter animations and view them directly in Google Photos or your Gallery app.
Android Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Copy the Link in X / Twitter for Android
Open the X / Twitter app on your Android device. Find the tweet containing the animation. Tap the Share icon and select Copy link.
Step 2: Paste URL into Twitter GIF Download
Open Google Chrome (or Samsung Internet), go to xgifdownloader.net, and tap Paste. Then tap Download GIF.
Step 3: Download the MP4 Video
Once the media preview appears, tap the blue Download MP4 button. Chrome will download the file instantly to your device's default Downloads folder.
Step 4: View in Gallery or Send to WhatsApp / Telegram
Open your device's Gallery or Google Photos app. Your newly downloaded animation will be at the top of your Recents/Downloads album, ready to be sent as a looping video or converted into a sticker!
